What's the Latest at Base Camp?
In August of 2012 Base Camp lost our lease on the building that we had been in for 10 years. Since that time we have actively been searching for a new location.
Understanding our desire to purchase a new building rather than leasing again, an anonymous donor has graciously given the first $50,000 towards the purchase of a new building.
In December the former Denver Beef Company building became available, but unfortunately another prospective buyer had already placed an offer which was accepted. After a series of events, we were recently contacted by the realtor and told that the building was once again available. We have walked through the building and are very excited about the possibilities! We will be going through the building again this week with Rockford Construction Company and and AMDG Architects to discuss renovation options.
Please be in prayer for clear direction and discernment as we continue to walk through the doors that God has opened with regard to this new possible location. God is good all the time!
